Man of Sorrows is an image of Jesus on the cross originally painted in egg tempera on wood panel with gold leaf in 8x10. The composition comes from the earliest known panel painting of the Man of Sorrows, (a name referenced in Is: 53:3) from the 12th century Byzantine period now in the Kastoria, Byzantine Museum
This icon reproduction can be hung using a French cleat system, placed on your favorite easel, or simply leaned against a wall.

The icon reproductions have a UV coating for protection and can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Can easily be sprinkled with Holy Water for its blessing without concern!
