Christ the Teacher is an image of Jesus holding the book of the Gospels with His hand in blessing. It was originally painted in egg tempera on wood panel with gold leaf.(pictured). It is five feet in diameter and currently hanging on the back wall of the Spiritus Sanctus Academy school chapel in Ann Arbor, MI.
This icon reproduction can be hung using a French cleat system, placed on your favorite easel, or simply leaned against a wall.
Hanging hardware is an additional $6
The icon reproductions have a UV coating for protection and can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Can easily be sprinkled with Holy Water for its blessing without concern!
